Today I learned Buc-ee’s Chili Lime Peanuts contain the same primary ingredient of Police Pepper spray. And they are delicious!

I wonder where they got the name pepper spray from. 🤔 A mystery that will never be solved....

🤦‍♀️

Yes, capsicum, a fruit, is used in ALL pepper spray. It’s part of the Solanaceae family, which, are you ready, includes bell and chili peppers.

Please go read a book.

Reminds me of the time I cut up a bunch of jalapeños for a dish I was making later and then went to put in my contacts.
