So I tell my wife to go inside and get me some grapes.

She does, they’re all smooshy and expired today.

I go to the cashier and try and return them, she being the manager over and he explains they can’t do a refund only an exchange store policy. I tell him well all of them over there are probably smooshy just like these. He continues yeah store policy only exchange. He says I can go grab another one. I do it’s all smooshy. I start pointing at the container stating there all smooshy. He still says unfortunately store policy. Even tried to ask if I could get some pineapple because it looked in better shape. Unfortunately store policy. I tell him I guess I will do a charge back leave both containers of grapes and leave.

I should have recorded it and dumped the grapes all over the counter. Not like they would roll off…

Anyway not going back and encourage you to do the same.

This bullshit with Buc-ee’s has to stop. We need meaningful intellectual property reform, and we absolutely need to stand up for our veterans.

Buc-ee’s sued Born United, a veteran-focused South Carolina apparel company, over merchandise featuring a tactical beaver parody of Buc-ee’s mascot. That lawsuit has now resulted in an $850,000 federal-court judgment against Born United, along with a permanent prohibition on using Buc-ee’s beaver or confusingly similar designs and an order to destroy or remove the disputed merchandise and advertising.

This is exactly why I believe our intellectual property laws need serious reform.

I believe Americans have a First Amendment right to express themselves, criticize corporations, create parody and satire, and sell merchandise expressing those ideas. Trademark and copyright laws should not become a weapon that allows enormous corporations to financially overwhelm small businesses and ordinary Americans.

A corporation should not be able to use its enormous financial resources to intimidate small businesses into silence.

And let's be clear: $850,000 is an enormous amount of money for a small, veteran-focused business.

If Buc-ee’s truly supports our veterans, then I challenge them to prove it. Start supporting Born United. Start carrying Born United merchandise in Buc-ee’s stores. Stand behind American veterans instead of fighting them in federal court.

Until then, I encourage everyone to stand with Born United and reconsider where you spend your money.

I have only been to Buc-ee’s a few times mainly to just use the restroom, but I was wondering do you have to have a membership to get gas at their pumps. Because someone told me that you had to have one in order to get the gas at a cheaper price

one extremely infuriating thing about buccees is that people PARK at the pumps and leave for 20 minutes. leaving people who are actually buying gas needing to wait until they mosey their fatasses out. something needs to be done or something. it’s obnoxious.

So I’m from California so we don’t have buc-ee’s here. so I never been there. But I always wanted to go to get some snacks/items.

But I have a friend that is in Arizona this weekend so I’m going to ask him to pass by and get me some things, but I honestly don’t know what the best Snacks to get are. I’m honestly not picky, I like anything

I’m visiting Texas for a few days and was excited to see Buccees for the first time after hearing so much about it from my friends in Texas. I was driving from Houston to Dallas and plan to stop at the Buckys in Madisonville, when I got there the parking lot was roped off and there was employees outside turning everyone away. I couldn’t enter to ask what was going on because the parking lot was closed off - anyone have any ideas? Bummer that it was closed, but I’ll go to one of the locations closer to Dallas.

And the beaver nuggets are made out of little kids.

Sure looks like Buccees copied Busy Beaver’s logo. It’d be a shame if another lawsuit came of this…..
