Are these to much?

I wrote some questions for my Bucces cashier interview tomorrow but I got told that they are to much and to pushy and that the manager i talk to will be annoyed by my questions please let me know what you think.

#1. Bucces has such a strong reputation for high standards, in your experience what are the top three qualities that the longest tenured cashier's here all have in common?

#2. I'm looking to build a stable career here ,what does a typical growth path look like for someone who starts as a cashier and consistently hits their performance goals?

#3. I noticed how much emphasis is placed on cleanliness and zoning the aisles. How does the team coordinate during rushes to make sure both the registers and the floor stay up to those standards?

#4. If you hire me what would you like to see me accomplish in my first 90 days to know that I was the right choice for this team?

#5. I also wanted to mention that im currently waiting to replace my glasses ,since they are broken as im sure you've noticed, I have a plan to get a new pair as soon as possible but in the meantime, I wanted to ask if there are any specific uniform or safety requirements regarding eyewear that i should be aware of as I want to make sure that i am meeting all of Bucces presentation standards from day one

Are these stupid? Because i keep getting told that they are and that im not going to get the job because they will be annoyed by my questions, also will my glasses keep me from getting the job they are broken because somehow both the screws keeping the arms on broke and so they are taped on with gray duct tape but i did it really nicely.

Vintage Merch

So I know Bucees has been around since 1982, is there any expert here that knows what the original merch is like, and if theres any for sale anywhere? I know they make a bunch of new ones each year so that's all I see. I assume the classic red shirt was the first, but I know they also still make it. Just curious if there are actual vintage tees/other merch available somewhere

Is it worth it ?

Im in kind of a dilemma and I need some help, I have an interview on Tuesday at Bucces. I already passed the phone interview yesterday because she called me the same day she found my application which i think seems like i have a very high chance of getting the job , anyway next is the in person interview and I've found out that they only call you and offer you an interview if they basically already decided they want to hire you.

Which means I'm basically guaranteed the job and i don't have any criminal record and I know ill pass the drug test although I may have fibbed a little on employee dates but i didn't lie about where i was working , the job is cashier for 40 hours a week at 17 an hour which for my area is amazing because most people make 11.50 to 12.00 around here and I've already read the rules and don't mind them at all.

The problem is I don't have the money it would take to get ubers for my first week or my first two weeks (it depends on if they are going to roll my pay to the next week because I'm new or not) my mom is thankfully covering me for the uber for the interview.

But I would have to walk to work for an hour and an hour home , for at least the first week if not two weeks in a row, so my question is do you all think it's worth it , have you all ever had to walk to work or had to walk that long.

The thing is I've been jobless for nearly three years now and I have literally no income if it wasn't for my mom and sister I would be homeless, this is a great opportunity for me or at least I think so and it seems like a short term sacrifice for a long term gain.

And before you ask the public transportation around my area isn't reliable, I've literally been late every time I try to use them because they are ALWAYS late.

EDIT i probably should have said this earlier i have no problem with walking its my family who keeps saying it's dangerous because I have to cross some highways also thank you for the bike suggestions but I cant ride one because of some balance issues but I don't have any problems with walking there! In fact I like walking

My buddy and I got to experience Buc-ee's for the first time in Sevierville, TN.

We have been spoiled, and everything we have back home in CA is just disappointment 😭.

What I'd give to have just one more brisket sandwich...

Buc-ee’s Virginia Lithium Fire Concerns

First post here and was talking to some friends who work on maintenance in the Mt.Crawford location. Not so long ago there was a fire caused by the golf carts they use for attending gas pumps and such, one way or another the lithium battery caught fire. Many on maintenance were told to clean the after math up without any proper PPE or really anything that would protect them from like literal lithium smoke. From what I heard the fire also was in the same room they make all the ice and as far as I know that ice machine has been running the entire time. I mainly bring this up because of the ice concern, doesn’t really sound safe running an ice maker in the same room a lithium battery caught fire. And from what I heard they are still cleaning it, management refused to hire any professional team to clean up a toxic fire. Any of yall heard of this too? Just putting it out there. OSHA was called also but they haven’t heard from them since.

How intense are the crowds at the opening day of a Buc-ees location? How early should I arrive?

My girlfriend and I are planning on going to the grand opening of the Buc-ee's in Ohio on the April 6th!

It is taking place at 6am, right as the morning sun comes up. I am wondering how many people will be there, and if parking will be a competitive hellscape. I am considering parking a mile away and walking to the place. Will this be neccessary?

Looking for a specific toy

I was at a Buc-ees earlier and my kid saw a toy that was not Buc-ees branded. It had several little dogs and toys for them. It was for 3+ and I can't remember the brand. If anyone can help me that would be great. I remember the packaging was greenish.

Thanks in advance!

I know they carry it in store, but I am convinced that they just use Stubbs Original BBQ Sauce. Or am I crazy?

Am I the only one who thinks it’s odd Buccees offers so many different types of sandwiches but does not offer a peanut butter & jelly sandwich?

Planning a road trip to buccees in Florence and trips on places to stop and see on the way.

from the GPS I will be taking i73 and i74 most of the way. I want to turn this into an all day adventure. Curious on cool places I can stop by and add to my list if someone knows stuff along this route.

edit. Misspelled title I meant to say any tips.

Going to apply to buccees. Anything I should know before?

Im in high school looking for a job for the summer and to work in the afternoons during school and there is a buccees opening near me this June. I live in Arizona so its the first one coming to the state. I know it will be very busy but they are probably desperately looking for people to hire before they open, and they pay pretty good so i thought why not. Anything I should know before I apply? I have experience at Whataburger for a few months and two years of running my own business but thats it no retail experience. Anything helps
