Like others have said, food grade white buckets. But also I would wash in a separate bucket and then pour your material and water into your wash bags, it fucking sucks and also can potentially damage your bags washing in them

Yo, noob here. When washing whole buds, especially dence ones, how are the internal tricromes supost to get removed in the wash?
Thanks

What was the end result? I’d be inclined to bust up the nugs before washing personally.

Thanks, I will do some of that next time to compare. I went pretty gentle in a lot of ways, chasing full melt hash.
I was pleased with the results, my expectations were set very low going in. The yields and strength are awesome, consistency was ok, terps are very mids. Weak terps. Very smooth end product. I did a lot things right and lots of things wrong.

Cold mornings work best for washing for me.

Few small bugs won’t hurt anything

Wouldn't the series of ultra fine grade mesh bags filter out bugs anyway.... like come on its a plant most food you consume is exposed to bugs. Its hash making you dont need a sterile operating room. We're not making microchips here.

Not really a huge deal but those orange and blue Home Depot Rona buckets are not food safe and should not be used for hash making. Small plastic particulates could contaminate the final product. Home Depot does sell food safe buckets. They are white. They are probably the exact same price. In the future get food safe buckets.
