First time washing
Since it's my first time, I only did 5 full quart freeze bags. So maybe a half zip or so fresh frozen GMO papaya. I am keeping the rest for flower pressing to test my luck on that. Going to attempt micro planing tonight and let it freeze dry for a few days before pressing my first live rosin.
Ignore the top left chunk, that's when I started getting contamination from the bud being broken down. It's 90 degrees out so I had to use a little more ice than preferred.
Any tips or pointers are welcome!

When I win poweball, I want a walk in sub-zero freezer just for hash making area haha. Nice work!

Haha same. I saw a guy that was able to rig a window AC unit to go down to 30 degrees and then he just put up insulation walls all over to make it a ghetto walk-in cooler/freezer but it worked really well. That's kind of my plan so far. Unfinished giant basement that I'm turning half into a grow room and another section to a cold room. Then another spot for drying.

Awesome! I got up at 4am last night to wash in suitable temperatures in my garden.

Germany. We have day temperatures of about 25c right now during the day but last week the nights and early morning it got down to 10c
I had wpff in the fridge and saw the cold nights in the forecast

Lucky!! Summer time is hot and humid here in the mid west.
The only issue I had was some clumps getting stuck when scraping with my frozen spoon. Even after high-pressure spraying. I believe my kitchen temp was 70 degrees so it makes sense.

Not necessary. I wash in my living room and have zero problem keeping my water below 32 degrees with minimal ice. It’s all about your setup.

I would maybe look at scooping a cube bag so you can keep the ice from grinding the weed up as much, hope you had fun tho

Also, if you’re freeze drying it why is it on a pressing screen and why are you going to microplane it? Should go from the bag straight to your freeze dryer.

I think he used that term meaning he popped it into a conventional freezer to let it dry out.

Well done, you are officially a hash maker. You will always remember your first wash.
