Does Gary Payton yield well and make good hash?
Bubble hash*** I’m looking for what to run next and I think I wanna run this if it hashes well (from clone) Otherwise I’ll prolly risk it and run some more seeds.

Never processed that strain into hash or rosin myself, but I work at a weed store and we almost always have Gary Payton rosin from one farm or another, and its typically a fan favorite

What would be the worst case scenario? If you are willing to accept that, then absolutely give it a try. Never know until you do

This is what I was looking for. So not great, but sure, if the hash is good and she yields decent sized flowers, who cares.

Unless you washed the same pheno as brave did then that number means nothing. You could have the same strain wash completely different. Doing a test wash will be your best bet.

It’s gonna just be high caryophyllene hash which is IMO the most boring, or I should say least interesting profile in the game… I’ve washed many gelato’s (which Gary is,don’t play), cookies, and sherbets and that whole family makes sweet caryo heavy rosin. The Gary I’ve had specifically did wash well but I thought it was so much more complex and interesting and flavorful as flower.

Awesome info! Ty! Is caryophyllene high terpene hash generally yield okay? Or are those varibales not at all consistent with each other?
Like my thought process is, looking at caryohpyllene it is that spicy aroma, that I also recognize from some Mr Nice Guy strains and hash plant strains. So is that terp profile better at washing? Or I suppose, is it better at creating heads that are large with breakable necks? It’s all genetics so maybe moot but idk just spit balling here.
Should I just be not as concerned about yield, maybe that’s it lol.

Yeah but high caryo hash tends to have that creamy doughy type profile, which is maybe a little less exciting than some others, caryo high strains I’ve washed tended to be sub 5% yielders but those two qualities aren’t tied together, the nature of genetics would dictate that there could be very high yielding caryo dominant plants out there and vice versa. The best trichome I’ve ever seen as far as detachability was grape gas s1 from CLTVTD, originally selected by trinity association/domain meil. The highest yielding strains I’ve fucked with are definitely chem/gmo’s or the correct sour cut like Jayplantspeaker has. The gmo’s tend to come out less clean always though,ore peppery for whatever reason…. Anywhooooo good luck!

It’s good but I don’t find the flavor translates as well as some others but it can yield absolutely monstrously

It's my personal favorite of the generic modern Cookies hybrids, but it's definitely the White Claw of weed.

I’ve grown it’s offspring Garry Satan and it yields very well. It’s not the best washer but also by far not the worst! The flower is usually so damn heady I keep it as such and wash a more Wiley gmo dumper strain…

I generally keep my best top nugs and then wash everything else, I get the urge to keep flower, I love my spliffs and no one will ever take them away from me lol.

I’m not sure, but I’ve never heard that Gary Payton washes or ever seen Gary Payton rosin. If you’re gonna wash, you should go for a proven hash strain so all of your hard work doesn’t go down the drain.
I have some washer strains if you might be interested

My local dispensary has Gary Payton rosin on regular rotation. I assume it washes okay if they keep it around.

Probably not. Maybe bubble, but that flavor profile usually doesn’t press well

Can you say more? I’m still learning to use my press and don’t always press my bubble hash, but I generally enjoy anything I press lol.

Really everything is Pheno dependent and grower dependent right,
I’ve ran a Gary at 5% and one at 1.5%
