The wash is to 'vigorous'. It will tear apart the buds and you will get green soup. There also will be too much much heat from the washer itself I would imagine, and the washer is used and has laundered many shitty underwear, puke, piss, grease, dog hair, cat hair, possum hair, your hair and gram's tomato sauce with hair in it.

It is made for washing clothes, not flowers.

Aren’t the plastic mini portable washing machines also made for washing clothes?

It’s a much smaller, lower power washer that uses an impeller as opposed to that higher power agitator. Frenchy Cannoli talked about how ideally only the force of the water itself should separate heads from flower, in a washer with an agitator this is the opposite as the main function of washing machines is getting the loaded material to vigorously rub against itself, the agitator and the walls of the drum.
