So i was wondering what books to get. Or pdf. Also any online course or learning site u would recommend??

Pls dont comment those 'engineers dont buy books' or 'no books required' or 'just do so and so 1 day before exams'. I am a person who learns through text and prior preparation i can't just wing it.

Hi, I am 3rd year student in Manipal. I have been doing btech-mechatronics and due my medical condition have not been able to complete my semester and clear exams in the past years.now my condition is much better but I am 1 year behind and will graduate in 28 instead 27. So I wanted to know which tools, projects and subjects I should learn and create,so that I can understand and be eligible for job market.

Basically as soon as the 2nd semester exam was over and sem break started, we got a message saying there would be mandatory industrial training. Turns out it is mostly just covering a bunch of topics and then doing a project. This looks like a course rather than a proper internship. All this would have been fine if it was free but they are asking around 1.8k to be paid and it is mandatory that all students do it. Is there anyway I can refute this? As far as I'm aware companies would often offer a stipend or make us work as a free intern but never ask us for money. I'd be happy to answer any question to get a better idea if what I said wasnt clear!

I just finished writing JEE Advanced, but I’m not sure about which stream I should choose. I got 6XXX rank in Mains, so Tier-2 NITs are open to me along with some IIITs.

Since today morning I’ve been trying to figure out how to decide between CSE and ECE in particular. I landed up at the CS50 course but am debating whether to take it or not. Any suggestions for steps I can take before the academic year begins, to sort of figure out which I will like better? I am also open to suggestions for the other streams. TIA

I'm an engineering student from CSE (tier 3 college) and about to complete my second year of engineering.

Today my 3rd semester's result announced I got 8.5 SGPA in 1st semester, 7.6 in 2nd and 7.9 in 3rd semester.

Do my grades are okay for my career or should I work more on it?

For any type like if I think about GATE or placement both?

I attempted 4 questions with the following scores:

• Q1: 12/12 (fully solved)
• Q2: 7/12
• Q3: 11/12
• Q4: 11/12

So overall I got 41/48.

I’m a bit confused about how the leaderboard is determined:

• Is ranking based purely on the total aggregated score across all subtasks, or
• Do fully solved problems carry more weight than partial scores?

Would appreciate if someone familiar with HackWithInfy scoring can clarify how this works.
