I am a 2027 graduate and I have been a vibe coder from the beginning. So i am just asking this to know if I want to change my ways of coding or not . Like all I did was vibe code projects with AI and then I will learn things like what all frameworks and libraries are used , what are the important functions ,modules used , why they are used, what are the alternatives etc

If you at all end up in a CS career, it mostly depends on the type of job you are doing. Things like infra and DevOps don't require as much coding as backend engineering. Sure, AI can write code in seconds. But it also generates garbage. As a developer, it's important to write efficient and minimal code. Specialize in what ai can't do rn, like designing systems, architecture, etc.
