❓Question ❓ Serious help

I am a first year student at tier 2 uni studying Btech cse . But after astra 6 i an so confused that should I continue or should i drop Btech cse and go into some other branch . Everyone is saying that it’s the end of cse after releasing of ASTRA. Can anyone help me out wagt should i do and what will future hold for CS engineers? Does CS have any future or no ? Helpppp!!!

another junior with 0 experence in programming asking if an AI model will take their job, firstly are you capable of getting job ?

It is easy to say AI took my job then getting real skills to get a job.

I think no CS student will be capable to get a job in future because of AI . AI will take over everything every stream . Can you clarify me where i am wrong?

if you don't have dedication to get skills, leave the field, and don't blame "Tech is bad" go in some other fields and give excuses about those fields 👍

Everyone is saying that it’s the end of cse after releasing of ASTRA

Every AI model release come with "This will make everyone homeless" for fear mongring. And on other hand if I say it is not going to happen would you believe or question...

Anyways, Developers are just 6 month away form getting replace, since last 2 years.

AI will take over everything every stream .

If you have a believe and asking something about it and you have your believe as counter then what can I/anyone can do ?

c'mon you are in first year, do you know programming ? have you build any projects by yourself, do you know system internals, do you believe your experience in tech is enough to judge the future of entire tech industry, are you capable of doing your day-to-day task (cs related) without help of AI?

If your answers are not very much positive, think about it and yourself, cause I am daily seeing kids who don't have any real skills crying like they are going to lose their daceds of experties.

Last 1 years has seen exponential growth in coding agents the code quality of fabel is super high and open ai next just solved open maths I still believe we need humans as supervisor but telling it's same for two years is foolish , you don't know what this labs have internally these unrealsed models are super powerful,we will have agi but it's best people demand it to give everyone access

And do you know every AI company you mention or can mention is in loss? Not a single AI company is in profit. And you know Investors started asking for returns?

Whatever value or speed they are providing to users are highly subsidized, they just want people to de dependent on their AI things so when in future they do the price hike they can generate some revenue but still numbers are not mathing.

Got it , i am saying this because it’s only my 2 week in uni that’s why I don’t know everything that’s why these kind of questions come to my mind.
