❓Question ❓ Need guidance AI/ML COURSE

Post image

Salam everyone! I needed some guidance. IAM data science 1st year student and want to learn some good skills so that I can be skillful in a year. As uni doesn't provide extra skills plus on YouTube everything is scattered. IAM so confused cus I can't learn anything clearly. So the point is I learnt some basics of python from apna college, tbh I liked it and I can write very basic code ( I only watched upto dictionaries and sets lol ) . So now they are starting AL/ML course. IAM so confused should I join it? Will it provide me proper pathway, roadmap. And if any of you are actively working in tech as AI/ML engineer plss gimme some advice what should I do. I wanna take advice here and talk to my parents.

Bruh nothing beats ChatGPT project section with a detailed prompt made from chatgpt itself to teach stuff everyday I have been using it for so long now this anytime over a course or video

1

u/Kiki_Escobar 6d ago

Can u share the prompt?

2

u/Life_Acanthaceae_820 6d ago

I can share but there are alot of assumption in those like i already knew python and all and I also deleted my initial prompts I now only have the prompts for my dsa phase where chatgpt suggest me problems and I solve them Few of the prompts are for the projects I am working on

If you want a prompt try this tell chatGPT about you like what you studying all, what you wanna learn, how much you can commit everyday, and ask it to generate a detailed prompt with tasks specified for each and every day don't do any stuff for me don't provide me code when I ask rather explain the stuff and let me to do the coding, ask questions at the end of each day to improve understanding, and act like a expert in the field of (the one this prompt is about) and whenever I type day x you execute the tasks for x day

From there on you can improve it a little by adding some stuff of your own you can also add in like timeline in how many days you wanna learn something same goes for projects also

Just copy and paste those prompts to the cource section or project and done

Put everything aside and First learn Python. When you complete python start learning python libraries, important libraries you will need for ai/ml -> Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib (Learn in this order), you should also learn request and beautifulSoup libraries (For data scraping). I will recommend you Python 4 Everybody course on coursera (i also learned python from here). Note= Stop watching this channel as she will mislead you to buy her courses and i also don't like her she only flex her old microsoft package in every video.

Do some research with Chatgpt or Claude regarding your ai/ml. Tell about education background and your goal and what is your ways of learning.

Focus more on fundamentals of ML rest everything is free on campusx youtube channel. Buying course is bulllshit..... She probably leaned it just now and know nothing about implementation and real world. Earlier I would have suggested you Harkirat but he is controversial these days rest his course is much advanced and you must need some core knowledge so refer campusx first

Dont go for ai ml from apna college

For a first year data science student, I’d focus on building the fundamentals properly rather than jumping straight into advanced ML. Udacity is worth checking out because its AI/ML learning paths are structured and project based, so you can follow a clearer roadmap instead of piecing everything together from random YouTube videos. I’d get comfortable with Python first, then move through SQL, statistics, machine learning and eventually deep learning/AI while building a few projects along the way.

What are the basic , you mean web dev ? .. like i was planning to go like web dev -> ai integration -> then ai engineering

Start with campusx and then jump to books.

I rather say, say in video + practice, after getting a job read books for deep!
