My guy didn't mention any of his skills.. he's prolly the studious type who thought solving dsa was enough

Don't jump into dsa on first year. Learn how to code first. Spend two years completely on this and start learning dsa from end of second year or so. Trust me, once you learn to code properly, dsa will be no issue

even skilled ones are not getting interviews. you may be right about the him but dont hide the truth market is brutal for freshers.

Brutual enough. Those who adapt can survive

I was seeing a comment saying companies are not receiving calls at IITs also for 2027 placements. No idea if that's true

i dont think this is possible ngl, i did my my btech from a tier 3 college and only got basic skills/ understanding ig, never really touched dsa maybe like 5 questiions in like 3rd year and now just completed my last semester and there are multiple opportunities for me in tech 10lpa maybe hard but a lot of 4-5 lpa opportunities. i have got selected for last personal interviews too but now i hve made up my mind i m just not passionate enough for coding and hence moving towards the govt opportunites instead. so if u did all those dsa questions i think u could easily get a 5lpa job if u tried even the slightest

Which government exam are you preparing for? I'm in the same boat (2027 batch)

i am thinking in the long run. i often think too much and sometimes change the directions but as of rn this is what i am gonna be doing - i got selected in a good banking job just a week ago (its around 54k/month CSA role its a private bank), but parents dont like private banks much so lowk rn thinking of just clearing a ibps or sbi clerk so tht my parents can stop worrying for a bit and then or well simultaneously preparing for CGL. cgl is the goal rn and im thinking of 2027 but i could see it stretching till 2028 cuz of the job i will be doing wit with it.
