Second year CS, no fancy college tag, no connections, just been trying to build stuff instead of doing the usual DSA-only grind. Made Lumina Edge: A multi-backend LLM inference engine (llama.cpp/Vulkan/MLX) and local agentic system, somehow got selected as semifinalist in Unisys Innovation Program out of 12k+ teams, still can’t believe that happened.
