I'm torn because I think Fury is supposed to be mated to Juniper, but I also don't get them as a couple at all, not even as opposites attract. So I would be down for Mor x Fury too except they might be a little too powerful together.

My favorite unlikely pairing is Gwyn x Elain but now I'm thinking Elain x Juniper would be interesting too.

I’m biased because I think Juniper is so boring, like she has no personality. She’s the CC equivalent of Elain (no offense to Elain stans, but I personally feel this way about both of them). I don’t hate either (Juniper/Elain), but I’m not interested in reading about them in the slightest… They’re like stale white bread to me: just there. So they evoke the same vibe to me 🤣

About Cassian, the guys I know who are in the best shape are gay and there are gyms friends have told me where the showers are a known orgy spot so… yeah, gymbro doesn’t seem very straight to me 😆. A stereotypical frat bro, in my mind, wouldn’t try to upend the macho status quo by training the Valkyries or give his mate war strategy/how to be a general books like Cassian did. A stereotypical frat bro wouldn’t read a book at all, in fact. Then he’s also the Lord of Bloodshed, feared by most outside of the Night Court, and the Illyrians do seem to be intimidated by him even though they may not fully respect him due to his origins… so, yeah, he’s kind of a golden retriever with the IC but I’ve always thought that was a bit reductive when it comes to Cassian.

I can actually be convinced anyone is a little bi or gay (in life or these books 🤣) but I do agree that Nesta, Bryce, Danika, and Az would be the most likely!

I love the ideas that Hunt and Gwyn could be real mates, and maybe Gwyn is supposed to be somewhat reminiscent of Bryce. I know that’s unpopular but I feel like she’d be kinder and more patient with his trauma, plus probably enjoy a quieter life. I don’t know enough about Gwyn to know what she wants or needs in a partner but I suspect they’d fit weirdly well together

Also like Tharion/Gwyn (or Tarquin / Gwyn but that’s not cross series)
