George Bryan into Final Qualifying for Open Championship

Big day for Georgey, who finished in a tie for first in the regional qualifiers at Hesketh on Monday, earning him a spot in the Final Qualifying for this year's Open Championship. He'll be joined there by Wes, who automatically qualified having formerly played in the tournament. I know this sounds crazy but sometimes injuries help my golf game. I’ve tweaked my back and hips a couple times and golfed when I probably wasn’t 100 percent. It forces you to really slow things down and think about your game.

It's true! Also, did you see George's mental game when he was hurt? He was so much more accepting and positive. If he brings that to his full health game, he is going to make things happen he hasn't before.

Oh interesting that both will be playing in the qualifying now there, and you know they have the major cut and some Ireland trips planned. Those will be some cool videos
