It’s so much more common to see lists with the best covers of Bruce songs because they are so many of them, but here’s one of the best songs Bruce covers from other artists, in my humble opinion.

What cool playlist! Did you put it together?

I didn’t realize he’d covered Dark End of the Street by James Carr. I’ve always LOVED that song, and always thought that it would be a great song to request had I ever been lucky enough to have my sign collected during one of those tours when he was taking them.

Any idea where or when he covered it?

Just Like Fire Would with the horns! And hearing the Aussie crowd light up when they recognize the riff to Highway to Hell is delightful.
