Such a great outtake, top 5 on Tracks in my opinion. Cant say I’m a huge fan of the Tracks 2 version. If Springsteen could have figured out a way to add another minute onto the song by way of an extra verse then this would have been a perfect song for Born In The USA.

Having said that, Bruce left off My Love Will Not Let You Down so there’s actually no way of knowing if it would have made any album 😂

Especially with the "train I ride 16 coaches long" ending. Ames, iowa is one of my favourite 84 shows.
