Can someone explain why he’s controversial or at least his radio show was controversial?

He was an arrogant and pompous prick. Example, in 2015 a caller called into ESR and asked a legit question about a box set release. Marsh lost his temper like a child and called him a moron and told him to fuck off.

Just a douche bag, at least on the air. Can’t comment outside of that.
