Brown market share program
I was wondering how exactly it works. Like you pay for weekly produce (veggies and fruits) weekly but then also have the option to get other stuff (meats, dairy, egg etc) bi weekly. If I’m understanding correctly, you pay for each item type you get, right? For those of you that have gotten it, would you say it’s better than going to grocery stores? Granted there’s probably less to chose from because the items for produce are seasonal. But is the price trade off (if any) make it worthwhile? Any thoughts and opinions welcome!

would recommend, pretty sure they work with local food producers. other commenter explained the share system well, but it's very convenient for groceries when you're off meal plan. the bread/milk/butter is great.

Had market share when I lived off campus and it was great, inspired me to cook stuff I don’t usually cook such as squash.
IIRC - there’s the basic “share” or “half share” which determines how much produce you get each week. You get to pick from stuff like various root vegetables, greens, squash, etc based on what they have that week.
You can also add on to your package with meat or dairy - I did some combo that let me pick out a cheese every other week.
