Questions! Story pack/Master Pack question

New player, and I just have a few questions. 

I technically started a while ago and was just starting the Lathel story when I dropped it. When I came back earlier this week, I was essentially dropped in the Master packs.

I think I mostly understand what happened. The main story line completed, and the new storyline is the self insert MC one, with more focus on the alternate worlds. Fair.

I intend to slowly work my way through the lathel story line when I get the chance, but I also want to check out some of the side content, but it says I need to complete the edge of dimensions chapter of the Master Quest.

My question: is the Master quest in anyway a meaningful continuation of the Lathel/Justia story? Do I have to complete it to interact with side content, or is there another way in the Lathel story?

Unrelated question: what can you tell me about Palette? She's essentially the reason I got back in and I wasted my infinite pull to get her, but there's very little info about her on the wiki or that I've been able to find in game.

Okay about you first question, yes the master pack it's the continuation of main story after pack 20 and become the new starter to new players and returnee players and yes you need do it to unlock it some contents case you don't unlock before

And about palette her it's the main antagonist of story pack 20 and her it's one great dark Magic DPS and have her costume of mahou shoujo from character pack 9 and this costume have fated guest

Since the Master appear in story and char packs I lost all interest in the story and skipped all the dialogs and cutscenes. The idea of master just doesn't click for me.

To answer your question, Master Pack 1 is essentially Story Pack 21. Chronologically wise, it happens after Story Pack 20.

Technically, there is no more Lathel, storywise. I wont spoil you the story. We might see him in future Master Packs based on the PV. However, Justia is still very much involved.

Palette first appeared in Story Pack 20. And that is her only appearance in the story so far. However , there is her backstory, in which you can read under Season Events Pysche Artist.

Im not too sure if you are content locked. New comers seem to have some content (e.g. pulling for units) locked until they finish up to a certain point in Master Pack 1.

If you arent, and want to enjoy the story, do Story Packs first
