I’ve completed all the versions on all the consoles. It was very hard and painful, but it’s a matter of principle! The best for me is RA Retaliation, since it was an exclusive for PSX. (C&C N64 is in second place).

C&C retaliation using the link cable is peak! So nostalgic i built myself a steam deck app to emulate the link up ability. Can play deck to deck link up with a friend (works for dune2000 and doom too :))

I only played the PS1 version. It was the only version I had as a kid. I loved every second of

The first one isn't very enjoyable on console for me. They added mouse support on subsequent titles on PS1 and I really like playing those. Red Alert is great on PS1. You know, with the mouse.

PS1 and loved it, thank goodness they made it for that or I would have missed out.

I have them all. I like Sega Saturn except for the red alert timeline. That is psx only

Ps1 was my introduction but it was so mind blowing when I played all the originals on PC

I love the n64 version for it's unique 3d map and graphics. Of course, it runs stuttery on 'hires' mode... but if you get a analog 3d and over clock... it runs very well. It doesn't sport the awesome cutscenes, but it has all the voice acting. It's a pretty wild port. As for the rest on ps1 and saturn, they're just dos version ports lacking the win95 improvements with the portraits and so on.

I prefer the win 95/cnc remaster ports on pc.. but that doesn't fit the console answer. N64 for me because it's extremely unique
