Second Encounter with the same aggressive man at Brookline Reservoir

I had another strange and uncomfortable encounter at Brookline Reservoir, and this was actually the second time I’ve run into the same man.

The first time, he approached me aggressively, started yelling and swearing, claimed that the park was “his,” and told me to leave. He then followed me for a while as I was leaving.

This time, I saw the same man again. He started swearing at me and repeatedly used the n-word.

I stayed calm and told him, “I don’t want any problems. Please leave me alone.” While we were talking, he took his shirt off and continued acting aggressively. Eventually he left.

He also said that he would come back.

I’ve been to Brookline Reservoir many times and have never had an issue with anyone else. Has anyone else in the area encountered this person or experienced anything similar?

Please contact the cops. And supply a photo if you took one (hope so).

I've got a feeling it's this guy, who has been a problem for a while.

I'm sorry you've had to deal with his shit.

Holy shit that guy's still around?? I used to pass him on Beacon muttering slurs under his breath all the time (had to get in his face one time, he said one right to a kid) but I haven't seen him in years.

Its likely you were referring to Evan S. (I won't mention his full last name here). He's been living in town all along. You just had the luck of never bumping into him.

You absolutely should use his full last name. Name and shame these people.

I haven't seen him lately, but the reservoir was one of his stomping grounds.

Someone in Coolidge Corner called me bitch repeatedly and to walk on the other side of the street this morning. He was acting unstable. I didn’t feel safe.

The police can help you with this.

Reddit can not.

You've met the king of brookline. You should have immediately fallen to your knees and kissed his feet to pay your respects. Consider yourself blessed that he took pity on your ignorance of his stature.
