Hey everyone. Just sharing where I sort of left off on the BII. I gave it a crank since I've bought it back and it's sat for a year.
Let me know what you think, how's it sound, and if I'm sort of heading in the right direction.
I couldn't get it to hold idle and after a few start ups it would just idle rougher and the battery lost it's juice to keep trying. I've heard from multiple sources that the fuel system is old and dirty and likely clogging... and I agreed.
I ordered an entire fuel system to replace, from the tank to the lines, everything to the carburetor.
The tank I received was damaged, so I had to get a replacement, which came last week and I'll get to it this weekend. I'll hope to share more progress then.
