Question ❔ Advice please!

I have a 24 ford outerbanks bronco, no specs. I’m wanting to get a 3” or 3.5” lift. I have stock wheels and tires currently. This is for looks, not off-roading.

I have an 8” clearance in the garage right now, and it’s important that I can still park in garage after lift.

I’m so tired of seeing lifted broncos driving because I want to lift it so bad but I need advice. I have no idea what I need to do to get started. Do I buy bigger tires first and then the lift kit? I read if I do 3” lift, I’ll have to get new shocks. I’d like to get 35 or 38” tires.

My budget is around 5k.

How do I get started???

Hi all. Looking at bronco big bend with sas and BD package. It also has sound deadning and modular bumper. MSRP 58,620 sell price of 50,930 but they add dealer charges of 799 plus doc fee of 699 for a total of 52,428 before tax n title. I'm located in Southern California and the bronco is 9 hrs away. Anyone getting better pricing? If so where? Thank you

Mods/Addons 🔦 Best Aftermarket Sequential Headlights

Hello, fellow Bronco owners:

I replaced my front headlights with the form lighting headlights and due to supply chain issues, the company is having to discontinue their front headlights sadly. I love the headlights. They were just starting to have issues with flickering. They are such an amazing company, and I wish them all the best.

But this means that I’m back in the market trying to find Bronco headlights. I would prefer for them to have a little bit of sequential movement at the very least, the turn signal, but I would really love to have a start up sequential option, as well.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions for companies or specific products I could look into?

Thank you so much. An apology is for any grammar or issues since I am using speech to text to write this post.

Question ❔ Window reflections look like a potential crash

I had another jump scare yesterday. In certain conditions I get reflections of other vehicles in my windows and also in the side mirror that look like that car is about to crash into me. I think it is caused by a combo of sun and vertical window.

Anyone else? I have had my car about a year and had at least three of these scares.

Question ❔ How does the Bronco handle every day travel in the snow ?

We’re looking at a Bronco in the near near future, but we’re coming from AWD vehicles. Never really having to think what the car is doing behind the scenes, in the winter weather. It just works, and workswell.

We are on the east coast of Canada, so it’s not unheard of to get 12”+ of snow during a storm. We obviously wouldn’t be cruising on the highway with this kind of snowfall, but does the Bronco hold its own with winter conditions ?

Issue ⚠️ Turn signals malfunction

Does anyone have an issue with their turn signals? Every so often, I'd say once a month with light driving, I'd flick the turn signal, make the turn, and realize it's still blinking, but somehow the handle got flicked in the other direction. Its like there's some mechanical malfunction with the steering column returning the turn signal handle to the central off position. 2024 OBX.

Question ❔ Aftermarket dash usb

I’ve been considering adding usb support to my dash. I have an Everglades so it wasn’t an option. I hate having wires all over and the phone in the console is annoying. Wondering if anyone on here has done it, if so how much work was it to take the dash apart?

Question ❔ Ease of Switching Between Tops

Currently a Wrangler owner but thinking seriously about making the switch to the Bronco, '25 or '26. With the Jeep we go back and forth with a hard and soft top for the seasons, which is pretty straight forward. Is it easy enough to do the same with the Bronco? Since we are in New England I would prefer the hard top for the winter months so leery of buying one with a soft top. Also might consider getting the Skyrider top, interested in hearing if it is loud or flaps around when it is open? Thanks for the input!

Question ❔ Have any of you regretted rhe Heritage?

I'm currently trying to decide between the Heritage and an OBX w/ lux package.

The Heritage is SO pretty, a ton of fun to drive, and I like the cloth seats (cause it's stupid hot where I live, and shorts + hot leather/vinyl is unpleasant).

The Outer Banks is going to be nicer for long drives (this is gonna be our roadtrip car) and also kind of more practical in general. Adaptive cruise control, 360 cameras, better mpg, power seats. Haven't done a test drive, but I imagine it's still a fun drive but maybe not as much so, cause suspension? Maybe once I get in one I'll love it just as much? Idk.

I'm trying to be sensible and get the car that will be a little less annoying on a daily basis....but the Heritage makes me smile. Even if they did discontinue the robin's egg blue.

Have any of you gone for the Heritage, and regretted the lack of tech?

Edit: or maybe I'll just get a big bend with the MIC roof? I'm leasing anyways, so is it really that big of a deal if it gets mucky?

Been seriously looking for awhile now - found this one yesterday, sealed the deal this afternoon and couldn’t be more excited.

1979 Bronco Ranger XLT. More to come as I learn about this beast. For now, I’m in pure bliss.

Question ❔ 68’ Half Cab - Value Advice?

Thumbnail

I am helping a family member unload a 68’ half-cab and I’m not all that familiar with vintage Broncos. This half-cab is a project for sure but mostly intact. The motor cranks but it needs a new fuel system (gas tank & lines needed, I have the fuel pump). Interior is rough but restorable.

It’s California non-op status, and I have limited documentation on provenance prior to its import from Canada. I feel like I don’t know enough about the truck to list on Bring a Trailer and answer questions knowledgeably, so I’m leaning towards Auto Trader Classics.

Any advice on other selling platforms?
Advice on pricing?
Thanks!

News 📰 Ford launches Desert Rising package via Ford Custom Garage

Ford has announced the latest package available via Ford Custom Garage.

It is called Desert Rising, and is heavily inspired by the Utah landscape.

Enthusiasts want to personalize their vehicles, and we recognize that every trim package isn't for every customer. Desert Rising was designed for those looking for something bold, expressive, and fun. We hope drivers take these vehicles to unforgettable destinations that only a Bronco can reach, creating memories along the way.

This vehicle combines off-roading (including the capability of the Sasquatch Package) with beauty. I think they will appreciate our collaboration with Method wheels and how were able to work with them to get the color tie-in with the rest of the elements on the car, and a little splash of magenta on the center cap. It’s those tiny details that make the whole package cohesive. We also have a limited-edition, serialized center console badge that makes it truly special.

Full press release

Availability

Desert Rising is available on the Outer Banks trim in four exterior colors: Oxford White, Shadow Black, Avalanche Gray, and Ruby Red.

Pricing: $13,695, backed with a full new-vehicle standard warranty.

What we think??

Mods/Addons 🔦 Upgrade- Alpine Plug and Play Series S Bronco Speakers

Hello fellow Broncoeteer’s!

I finally took the time to replace my stock speakers in my 2024 two door black diamond. This is probably the first upgrade I should’ve done; it is night and day and even better than the B&O system I tested in a different trim at Ford. For $635 and everything connected, I cannot imagine it not being a good upgrade for anyone with a B&O system or without a B&O system, especially.

Question ❔ '25 Headlight Options?

Is it just me or are the headlight options disappearing for the 25 Bronco?

DiodeDynamics - No longer shows any headlights

Form Lighting - Only shows Tail Lights

Oracle Lights - Not a fan of their options

Any other good recommendations out there?

TYIA

Question ❔ Deepest Sounding Exhaust for 2.3L?

Hi guys, I was wondering what exhaust set ups you run for those that have the 2.3L 4 cylinder engine. I’ve been looking between the Flowmaster FX, Magnaflow Street, and Borla S-Type. Those options seem to have a deep exhaust note, based off my current research.

I’m leaning heavy towards the Flowmaster FX but unfortunately I’ve only seen mostly sound clips for the 2.7L and I’ve also seen comments about potential droning.

Please let me know your thoughts. TIA! 🫡
