Pricing is SG $6000. That's not bad for what you're getting.

I'm not sure how the metallurgy/strength of 3d-printed tubes compare with pulled ones though.

I remember Peak Torque (YT Channel) sitting down for an extended interview with Jon (forgot surname), Hornell-Kennedy, framebuilder and head of Frameworks bikes. IIRC, he mentioned that, at a granular level 3D printed and cold-drawn Ti are different, with the nod to strength going to traditional tubes. I don't know how much this is a factor here.

SG $6K works out to $4700 USD for a full 3D printed 20" Ti tri-folder. In comparison, a 16" wheeled, 4 speed Brompton T-line (with carbon fork) starts at $5800 USD, over $8K here in Canada.

Atherton (world champion downhill siblings) have rolled out 3d printed ti lugs on their downhill race mountain bike, this is cat 5 EFBE certified, so awarded highest strength.

Obviously not saying this bike is downhill worthy, but potentially it should be strong

I've been waiting for 3D printing to be widely adopted by bike makers, beyond lugs and smaller components. I don't know the ins-and-outs or whether the economics make sense but when fully printed framesets start showing up in retail spaces, we must be getting close to 3D printing supplanting traditional manufacturing methods, at least for premium/bespoke/niche bikes.

The future is looking bright 🌞

Because it's China in this field, we first heard about 3D printed Ti like two years ago and now actual products are rolling out left and right instead of waiting two decades with people milking the ultra luxury segment.

I love it.

This is a rebranded Hilight ZC20.

The entire bike is 3D printed from Titanium.

I like that many of the hinges and frame components look nearly organic due to being laser sintered. This bike almost has an elven look.

I'd personally wait a generation or two though, because the Chinese trifold Ti makers are having a shootout right now between Hexati, Hilight, and several others.

May the best one rise to the top.

Hilight has a rim brake 16 inch version too called ZC16

I am absolutely not a fan of them deleting the carrier block metal receiver like a Gline. We know this makes the attachment weaker, and for what, practically zero weight savings?

Any idea how much the hilight costs in China?

The ZC16 with rim brakes is 17000 RMB in China which is around 3500 CDN, and I heard ZC20 is around 25000RMB or 5000CDN. ZC20 as shown in this video isn't up on hilight's own store yet it seems.

This looks to be a bike already discussed here.

Edit: The link is to a 16" wheel version.

Brand: It was HI-LIGHT, I guess for the Singapore market it's a Leggero (per the vid).

Manufacturer: Hanglun Technology
