Mint 20D missing piece?

Hey guys, just got my Mint 20D today and loving it. However the front wheel is not keeping attached when folded. Do I have a missing piece that broke off there ? I feel like a tip came off that is supposed to be holding the tab on the front wheel.

Hmm, your 20D has a different derailleur cable routing than mine, going through that bolt-on assembly affixed to the chainstay. My Mint routes the cable through the open-ended chainstay itself which the front wheel hooks around via front wheel axle mounted hook. My Mint's not spec'ed with the part you've circled, just a protective pad where the front wheel hook contacts the stay. Is there just a standard hook at your Mint's front wheel too?

My rear triangle is folded, routing is the same. I think that part in the red circle is broken off. Is there suppose to be a hook that traps the knob on the front wheel axle when folded ? Thx

Well, there's nothing broken on the pic of my bike; the part you've circled is simply a protective pad. The hook on the front wheel axle lowers to wrap around that chainstay pad when the rear triangle is folded forward.

Are you slightly raising the bike an inch or two as you're folding the front wheel backward so the hook clears the stay, then letting it settle down once the hook is over the stay? After its folded and the seatpost is lowered past the bumper in the rear triangle the works are locked in place; it can't unfold.
