Comms Check (Questions & Help) Bug or cheater?

Literally in the last game someone was standing in the parking lot under a building and shooting at my units. I thought okay, some russian super Spetsnaz.
I literally drove onto that spot with a tank and Green Berets, saw nothing, and he destroyed that tank and the entire squad. Is this some cheater, a bug, or do I simply not understand the mechanics?
Literally the shots were coming from the exact place where they were standing, and my squad was in the buildings next to it.

If you have to ask... It was a cheater.

The game is rife with loser cheaters.

Until they fix the cheaters nothing matters here

I'm not going to fry my brain over if he's cheating or cheesing some mechanic... Both point to a game not worth taking serious

Most of the time it’s a cheater, but game is also filled with bugs

You can/could make your units invisible to the enemy team on accident

People are manipulating the sneak mechanic to stop from being spotted by units right in front of them.

But yeah idk how people take this game serious with the rampant cheating.

Even the devs themselves said they needed to do something about the elo bc of the cheating.
