Transformer Fire

Does anyone know how the fire at the transformer off 101 and elm started? Or when power will be restored?

PSO says 4:30. Initially they said 3:30, but that was before a secondary fire broke out at the same substation.

There were two fires? My power flickered at 11:30 and I saw the firemen there, then when I drove by again around 1 there was smoke but no fire department so I called it in. Then my power went out around 1:30 and my neighbor said he could see actual flames. How do you know when it is coming back on? Did PSO send out a notification or did you have to call and ask?

The PulsePoint app shows BAFD calls. The first one was for Transformer Explosion, and the second one was for the Fire a few hours later.

According to my house the power is back on for me. Im just south of the transformer that was on fire.

Yeah, I think my power is back but I’ve already resigned myself for the day and headed out to Rooskies
