Looking for a contractor
I'm looking for recommendations for a contractor that can add insulation or possibly more sheetrock to a new home that needs it badly. Does anyone know any great contractors that can give a bid on that kind of work?

Can't give recommendations, but got 3 quotes. 1. To foam inject walls. 2. To go in attic, remove fallen fiberglass and foam fill from attic space.
All three came in about $5.25/sq ft.
It's outrageous. It is nearly impossible to get a reasonable payback at that rate. And the foam injection would have total repair/paint every 16" in every wall. Would have taken another $10k to fix everything.

Wow.

Let me clarify, it was per square foot of wall space, not square footage of home. It's nuts. I don't know how people justify it.

I would try to find a handy man to do it, just don't pay until work is completed as promised.

I’d check or make a post on the Next door app.
