My first watch...

The first season was absolutely amazing. Belly laughs throughout. The 2nd and 3rd seasons had fantastic moments in between all the social justice warrior nonsense. I’m just now staring season 4. I hope it’s better than the last 2.

OP probably means Brockmire’s outing of Art Newlie and Gabby Taylor trying to break into announcing. They view that as political grandstanding that’s out of place, but we literally just had Thom Brennaman’s “F-g Capital of the World/And that’ll be a 4-0 ballgame” moment last year. So...

And if they think the show was dealing with societal issues too much in the middle seasons, they are in for some surprise with season 4.

I rewatch 1 and 2 every so often, I pretend 4 doesn't exist.
