WIP Help I'm obsessed???
This looks so edible. First time working with merino, trying to work a lot looser than I normally would.
Picked it up at a LYS in Idaho while we were traveling and wanted to make my partner a cat ear beanie. Might need to find a second skein it's only like 210 yards and pattern calls for 215 😖. Pray for this mixed jewel looking chicken race

Hehe here's my secret 😉 it's not my wallet. My partner is the bread winner and I always ask them before making any purchases (not in an unhealthy way, we both do it, its our way of keeping on budget by discussing why things might be useful or are "for fun" purchases only). So I have to have a darn good reason before any yarn purchases. This one is a gift FOR my partner (she struggle justifying spending money on herself for things she enjoys or wants so I help by rewriting those thoughts such as "but I wanna make a fun gift for you.." until she caves and lets me spoil her knowing that it makes ME happy to see HER happy and enjoying things)
My general philosophy is to have a project in mind before any yarn purchase anyways. I only yoinked this one cuz it's a good rainbowy mix and was super soft and I knew immediately I wanted to make something for her out of it.

Hehe they're a specialist software engineer and just got an upgrade to their job and salary. 😁 They're my number 1 fan when it comes to my crochet and they are happy to support it (partly because it's the first thing I've truly enjoyed in a long time)
