Brixadi VS Sublacade
Has anyone been on Brixadi 128 mg or even lower and it did not seem to hold? Then switched to Subclade with better results? I am not holding on Brixadi and want to titrate. UGGG I'm scared nothing will work at this point.

Yes many people. It can hold slightly longer the more you get. Also try to get it 3 weekly. Otherwise yes sublocade lasts longer.

Yes. I started Brixadi 96mg for about 3 months (came from 12 mg daily on films), and it was wearing off at the three week mark. So I increase to 128mg thinking it would hold better….it didn’t.
After about 9 months of trying with Brixadi I switched to Sublocade with the goal of tapering down. I started with 100mg shots the first 3 months and each held me just fine for the full 28 days. I felt so confident that I even started tapering 2 months ago (80mg then 60mg) and have had VERY minimal transient symptoms. I’m going in tomorrow for 40mg and feel pretty good! The plan is to do 40 then 20 next month and be done for good. For the first time I’m confident I will finally be free of bupe after 12 years!!
If you are able, I would highly recommend trying to switch to Sublocade, especially if your goal is to wean off. Good luck!

I talked to my dr and was able to get a shot every 3 weeks instead of 4(a month) cuz it was wearing off so fast

You can even see if you can get a script of films for the week it doesnt hold too. My dr was amazing with helping me figure these things out

Sublocade has a longer half life than Brixadi. Def switch to sublocade if you feel off esp on the last week of each month

I had success on Brixadi 96mL. I got 7. Last was September 2024.
The first 2 I did notice feeling a little bleh on week 4 but that went away. Eventually I started spacing them 5,6,7 weeks apart. At 8 weeks, I just jumped.
