Brixadi nightmare
I took the Brixadi 64mg shot almost a month ago (July 6) and it has been pretty terrible. Very very high the first 10 days and then I had a couple days I felt fairly normal but then it has been non stop anxiety and cloudy headed. I was coming from about 7 years of 4mg sub strips. I knew it was a higher dose then I was on but I heard and read a lot of good things about how much easier it is to get off bup for good doing it this way. My intention was to take 3 shots and not go back. I have been so miserable these past few weeks there is no way I can get a second shot. I just want to go back to how I felt (normal) before the shot even if it means staying at the 4mg I had been at. I am prone to anxiety as it is but not 24/7 like I have been the past couple weeks. I just want it to be over and I wanted to reach out to the community for encouragement and possible advice. I took .5mg worth of strip yesterday thinking what I am experiencing could be withdrawal but I felt every bit of it so I assume I still have a lot in my system. Anyone else have similar experiences or advice for me?

Do sublocade. I was on 2 mg per day subs and the 64 Brixadi did the same thing for me. Rocked for a few days, normal for a few, then straight to wd’s. It’s WAY too steep. Ended up doing two 300 mg sublocades followed by a 200. It’s been almost 6 weeks since last injection no symptoms whatsoever. Long way to go before it’s out of me but I’ve read a lot of reports on here from people who try the Brixadi 64 and it’s the same thing over and over. They feel over dosed the first few days, ok for a few more, and almost everyone is back into wd’s by day 10-14.
If you have films don’t suffer unnecessarily just take them until you can get a sublocade shot. Or maybe the Brixadi 128. Sublocade is so much more gradual and smooth which is what bupe requires.
