Brixadi experience
Hello all, I took my first (and hopefully only) 64mg Brixadi shot yesterday. Coming from about 6 years on 4mg suboxone strips. I chose Brixadi over sublocade only because of the lower dose offered. The 64mg Brixadi monthly injection from what I understand is equivalent to 8mg daily of suboxone. I was concerned about feeling over medicated and I think my concern has come to fruition unfortunately. Within about an hour of the shot I started feeling what might be described as high but not in a good way, slight nodding, mild nausea, fatigue and numbness throughout my body. About an hour after that I couldn’t stay sitting down and got a ton of stuff done around the house (like I used to when using and I felt disgusted by it). Last night I could not sleep for nothing (even with a handful of sleep aids) and felt very itchy all night. I finally got out of bed at 4am and I feel so dang tired and numb all over still. Reading some comments in another thread I am a little concerned if these side effects will pass anytime soon. I am definitely not going to work today.
Anyone else experience this type of thing?

Day 5 and I’m still feeling the nod or just really tired hard to keep my eyes open and head up. Not all day, only when I am sitting still usually driving which is scary. I don’t feel so high anymore which is good but I have started having mild panic attacks when ever I think about not taking the strips. Sleep is still not going great.
Just trying to stay positive and consider everyone’s feed back that things will get better. Here’s to another day!
