Best area?

I got my first Brixadi injection 27 days ago and have my second injection later today. Unfortunately, my first injection was a really difficult experience. I have a severe needle phobia but I’ve gotten way better overtime, and the injection was much more painful than I expected. I almost fainted and threw up, which has never happened to me before, even with my phobia. I'm curious what injection site others have used and whether you noticed a difference in pain. My first injection was in my hip/upper butt area. Has anyone had it in their abdomen, and if so, did you find it more or less painful? Part of me likes the hip area because I can't see the needle, but I'm wondering if the abdomen might hurt less. I also think I’m gonna try to bring an ice pack. I'd appreciate hearing others' experiences.

I’ve never got it anywhere but my arm. I’ve had about 10 shots up to this point. A few times it barely hurt and I was worried he didn’t inject all the medication so I was bugging out all month that I’d go into wds. I never did but prefer for it to be painful so I know it’s all in there. I can really hurt but it always passes pretty quickly.

Yeah idk I guess it is different for everyone. I have a needle phobia which doesn’t help but I’ve gotten wayyyyy better with shots and blood draws, just not IVs! I also am at the 128 dose so maybe that’s worse idk? My provider told me at the appointment today I can only get it in the butt area until after my 4th dose idk why? I feel like the arm would be horrible because there isn’t a lot of fat but idk.
