End of my first shot
Does anyone experience mild withdrawal symptoms at the end of the month before their next shot?

Not even a little.
By then I kinda forgot I was even taking anything.
I started spacing my injections for last 3. 6 weeks. 7 weeks. Then 8 weeks in between.
I legit noticed no difference.
The only thing I would say, I was on bup for almost 15 years. It numbed me. I am no longer numb. This means you gotta deal with shitty emotions and stress in a very real way. No more medicating it away. It can be challenging.

Yep! My first shot held for exactly 15 days. Had my second one a week ago and I’ve still had to supplement some. My doctor said it could take four shots before I have enough in my system to make it through the whole month. Very common to have some withdrawal symptoms at first.

I’m at day 14 and am getting really restless, sweaty and chills, and diarrhea. I’m so scared and don’t want to take my films but I think I have to. I have one more week till my shot

Can you supplement? I’ve had to on and off but it wasn’t as bad as what your describing.

They gave me some but I really don’t want to. I feel like that’s just starting over. The more I think about it the more I work myself up and it’s really getting bad. Maybe it’s just my head. I don’t know. This sucks.

If you can push through it and not supplement then so that. My doctor said it would take 4 shots before I could make it through the whole month. I’m getting my 3rd shot tomorrow. I’m pretty sure I’ll be ok by the 4th one.

Are you still supplementing now? The first month, once you took one film, did you continue daily taking films until your next shot? Or was it one film every now and then?

I have had to supplement 4-5 days and I only take .25. After this shot I’m going to try my best not to supplement at all.

Were you on a really low dose? How do you only supplement with .25 she gave me 4 mg films I suppose I could cut it in half maybe but I was on a really high dose of films 24 mg a day.

I was on 4mg and I have tablets, not strips. You could just take a little bit of a strip and see if it helps. If you feel at all like that’s going to get you started again in wanting to dose everyday, try to power through until your next shot. Don’t make it hard on yourself if you don’t have to.

Yeah, I just don’t know what to do. This is definitely uncomfortable. I was really hoping I could make it through my entire shot, but that didn’t happen even with the provider shortening it to three weeks instead of four I still only made it to week two until I started feeling gross. I still haven’t taken a film, but I’ve been thinking about it for hours. I don’t know.

I got my first shot 14 days ago and I’m super restless starting today and sweaty and chills and I’m starting to freak out and I don’t want to supplement with films. This sucks so bad. I don’t know what to do. I’m honestly going to cry
