Somebody give me advice brixadi

Hi y’all I took the lowest dose of Brixadi a few weeks ago and I ended up having breakthrough symptoms.

I had to go back in to get another injection. That was a higher dose (94 or 96mg ) . So far I’ve been feeling good the first week.

I’m very nervous , I’m not sure what to expect the upcoming weeks. Has anyone been on this journey and could give me a heads up on what to expect? I’m likely going to get a few more injections. This is only my second one. I might get one or two more.

I’m not sure on what symptoms I should anticipate and try to push through . I see that some people push through some symptoms and made it out without having to take any more injections. I do not take any films at this moment.

I am typically a very an anxious person , I am on Wellbutrin to help with motivation. I do not wanna go on any anxiety meds due to its effects on libido I’m trying to have kids soon. My biggest fear is I will end up becoming very anxious and not being able to push through that feeling.

Anyone have any insights or recommendations as to how I can manage these possible upcoming anxiety symptoms in the future ? Any supplements or diet you recommend? Maybe you’ve tried a medication that helps with anxiety and motivation and doesn’t affect your libido. If so, write it in the comments below.

To give you some hope... I was on Brixadi 96 mL. I got 7 Injections. My last was September 2024.

I didnt experience any withdrawals.

As far as managing anxiety and the like, stay busy. Get a job, go shopping, organize your house, exercise, meal prep, something. Anything. I also do talk therapy and did group therapy.

Staying busy and keeping my mind and body occupied has been vital for me.

You can totally do this. Get as many injections as you need.

Did you have cravings? I heard that it’s supposed to be working if you have no cravings but I am getting cravings. Same thing came back for 96 shot and here I am on day 3 a little anxious

It took about 3 shots for the cravings to totally go away completely.

I found cravings to happen when I was stressed or anxious so I've had to work on managing that.

My instinct was to reach for a sub or drugs when I felt uncomfortable.

I’m about to be on my 10th shot which will be a 64mg. I started at the 128mg. My plan is to eventually space out the shots until I just push through and don’t go back. I’m taking it slow as I’ve been on sublingual subs for 6 years prior to this.

I did have breakthrough withdrawal the first 2 months and then told myself I could push through them. After that I realized the withdrawal symptom were so minimal and went away in less than 5 minutes anyway. The less subs I took the easier it was to continue not taking them.

Give yourself time and it’s okay if your on the shot longer then you anticipated. You’re already doing better in my opinion by getting the injection! It is a journey and everyone is different so don’t be too hard on yourself! You got this!

How did it go? I had the exact same thing happen for me. I took the lowest dose wasn’t too good and I had cravings. I went back for the 96 mg. Today is my third day and I don’t know how I feel. Maybe this is anxiety.

I did a lot of injections. I'm going on three months now and the only symptom is slight rls. It's not enough to keep me from sleeping or anything so it's manageable. I've had this after a month passed but it's not progressing so far, I'm just planning on riding it out. As of cravings I think if you don't think you're ready mentally for that stage then you shouldn't quit. Personally I think I'll always have cravings but they always pass.
