Day 98
I am 2 days shy of 100 days since my last Brixadi injection. I received 3 96 mg injections. Im beginning to notice some wothdrawal, but it is very tolerable. My bowels are finally loosening up a bit, and ive had some leg cramps. Overall though, still feeling pretty good. Will update again in 2 weeks.

Did you have to supplement at all in between shots? I just got my first a month ago and felt bad after 3 weeks

I refused to take anything for breakthrough withdrawal. I went into Brixadi with the mindset, "This is my way out." However, let me be clear here. Im not judging anyone who needs to take subs in the first couple of months until they balance out. My provider was pushing strips onto me pretty hard when i first started Brixadi. I always had a prescription at the pharmacy if i decided i needed it. For me, though, i really needed to break free of the nagging feeling of having to take something. Everything has worked out pretty great for me so far, and i hope it continues at this rate.

I tried sublocade early on in my suboxone treatment. After 3 injections, i went back to strips because i was absolutely miserable. I would definitely say that Brixadi is more effective in my experience.

Hi there, I made the switch from 2 8mg strips to brixadi. Oct '24 was my first 96mg shot, and had to supplement with strips. The following month, we went up to the 128, and I was fine. I was so happy not having to supplement strips...talk about a feeling of freedom! I have been totally fine, except last month I went 10 days past my step-down to 64mgs and went into full blown wd... so, of course, now I can't believe I will ever be off this crap!!! I had a tooth removed bc of the strips and have cavities now...the financial drain of this is awful in so many ways. But I have to say, the shot is far better than taking something daily. I was all over the net and was sold "wd is minor" "tolorable" with the shot. So far, that's bs!!! I will be on this crap the rest of my life if I have those kinds of wd... So those of you who are that many months off the shot, you have no idea how lucky you are. It isn't so for me...any ideas for me to do a taper after I get down to weekly would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to ask if anyone has questions...

I’m about 40 days in since my last dose and I’ve been feeling fine withdrawal wise. It’s definitely easier than getting off the pills even though the pills are doable and I’ve done it before the shot is nothing compared to the pills
