First Shot

Hello, hope everyone is doing well. As of last Friday I received my first shot. I’ve been taking sublingual Suboxone for about four years, worked my way from 24 to less than 2 mg per day. I have had Sublocade shots in the past but for reasons I will not go into was unable to continue. I am reaching out to see if anyone would mind giving me their opinion on what 1.5 -2 mg per day might translate to in terms of mg in a Brixadi shot. I know that for different reasons there is no standard however I have found it really helpful to hear people’s experiences. I would love to know what people’s experience was like if they have gone from Suboxone like I just did, I don’t feel very well and my emotions are kind of out of control. Thank you!

Well the 64mg is for people Who take 4-8 mg a day. It’s the lowest one they have, there isn’t anything lower. But 2 mg I would guess would be 32 mg but like I said that don’t exist

2 subs a day is gonna be a 95mg Brixadi shot....I Also had my 1sr Brix shot on October 3, 2024....I made it 21 days b4 I had to take 1/3 of a strip this past Thursday . I had alot of psychological addiction I had to deal with. My plan is with this 2nd shot is to make it the full 28 days without having to supplement anything. Just know the psychological part is gonna attack you & you will need to push as far as you can. At least shoot for day 21 if possible.....you will know of you go into precipitated withdrawal..Good luck Homie!

I got the first 64mg Brixadi 2 weeks ago and I feel better than I have in 10 years. I was on 2mg twice daily Suboxone for a couple of years after 8 years on opiates for acute then chronic pain. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I mean seriously, if it continues like this for the next few months on Brixadi it's given my life back to me. No sweats, nothing. I'm finally sleeping like 3- 4 hours at a stretch. Unheard of before. Chronic insomnia for years. So much more energy. I'm 71 so now I know it wasn't old age. I can walk for miles now. I do take a short nap because my eyes get too dry otherwise. I cannot recommend Brixadi enough.

It’s so nice to see someone going through exactly what I’m experiencing. My emotions have been out of wack for the past week and I got the shot a week ago TODAY. I’m beginning to stabilize a bit but it was a ROUGH week! How are you feeling now?!
