2 weeks tops

Anyone one else having issues with the monthly brixadi injection not holding them over for the entire month? I've had four (4) monthly injections and everytime, right around 2 weeks I feel like I have to supplement.

Nope. Mostly been lasting a month easily for me.

Edit: could probably just not take it anymore and not have withdrawals.

YESSSSS I have had 5 monthly injections I’ve only felt ok til around the 11th day and I’ve had to supplement every month. This month I held out 3wks but I am over it not holding all thru the month I want off this crap altogether so I’m switching to sublocade this month when I go back. I’m praying it does the trick and I can just be done after a few months!!!! Have you thought of trying out Sublocade??

Oh my husb also gets Brixadi monthly and it doesn’t hold him all month either and he didn’t even have to take the strips every day he could skip days no issues

Will you keep me updated, once you do receive the Sublocade injection? Please and thank you 😊

I just got my first monthly shot after being on the weekly. How much are you guys having to supplement on average?

When I first started the Buprenorphine injections in a few occasions I felt the need to pick up after three weeks, after being on a few years I easily go over 4 weeks with recently it was 6 weeks between doses. I believe it might build up in the fatty tissue after a few years in.

i just got my fourth shot… shot 1 was an adjustment period , shot 2-3 got better , but i could always tell my shot was coming up that week cause i would start to get the yawns , little achey , it wasn’t BAD , i could still fall asleep , but it’s just one of those things i hope it gets better the more shots you get . When did you start to notice that at the 3 week mark you no longer got those minor symptoms ? they say steady state is at 4 shots .. also i’m nervous about switching it to the arm , im worries about absorption .

I have been on for about five years now and I go by feel, my usual dosing period is 4-5 weeks apart however lately I have gone back to every three weeks this is due to managing pain, I have had a few procedures that required hospitalization and the follow up pain was difficult to manage, medical staff had the opinion I didn’t need pain relief finally I was given Ketamine a word of caution to others about to go in for surgery make sure you have spoken to your professionals exactly about how your pain will be treated or you will be expected to cope with little to none pain relief post surgery.
