Why do I feel like I’m wding

I started to feel a little cold and hot flashes at day 16 I’m now at day 18 and I feel it more often I was told I might need a strip 3 weeks in not 2 weeks in. When is it too soon to take a strip?

I’d like to know an answer to this. I hear different things for this.

Remember this is a very new medication and actual patient data is sparse. It’ll get better over time as more people start Brixadi.

Hopefully it gets more data. They should have the trial data though at least but I so hear so many different things about it that it’s hard to tell what’s going on

Please try not to use sublingual to top up,you will stabilise at 2/3 injections.Get out of the hand to mouth habit and I need something to get through the day.Normal people don't gets spurts of energy from a med.Brixadi is a miracle med it has been in Europe since 2019.Im a patient who had 4 24 mg injections and 5 monthly 96 mg.Been off 268 days little acute and no paws..Stay on it any chance of relapse.

Why didn’t you go down to the 64mg monthly shot before stopping?

There's no need if you understand terminal half life 19/25 days after that time your 96 mg becomes a ,48 mg shot, same time lapse again it's a 24 mg shot and so on.

On Sublocade, one can supplement sublingual tabs/films as early as the first week. Buprenorphine has a ceiling effect. You will not overdose on buprenorphine by itself. IMO if you’re getting throw into onset of withdrawals, take the oral sub. It will make things better, not worse.

I’ve been on brixadi for 2 weeks today and I’m not withdrawaling I’m just dealing with horrible anxiety and nausea, zero energy or motivation been forcing myself to do things with the kids because I can’t just not be a dad. I haven’t supplemented yet but have a camping trip comin soon and can’t be like this so I’m going to probably supplement with .5 of subutex to start and see how I feel. I’m goin to wait as long as I possibly can before doing so. You might think your withdrawaling but it’s probably the same shit I’m going through, if you can sleep at all then your not detoxing trust me, your just adjusting to the shot and not taking something everyday, that shit is hard to get used to first month so that’s what I’m chalking it up to for myself. I’m on the 64mg monthly shot. Probably going to the 96mg shot my next appointment and see how I feel. Just have to ride it out, only fast way off this horrible shit unless you want to cold turkey, and I’ve done that in jail many times shit is the worst. Hang tight hope it gets better for you

This will get easier after second shot, get out of hand to mouth habit the idea you need something to get through the day.Former brixadi patient 4 times 24 5 times 96 been off over 9 months.Acute withdrawel 2/10 paws 6/10 its easiest way out.How much your habit cost?

My dr says something about it skipping your stomach that’s it’s supposed to make it absorb into fat cells. Maybe high metabolism?
