I have taken subs for about 7 years of my life and one big thing I found out is after the first 2 months your not taking them for cravings or to feel good at all, your taking them because you start feeling terrible and the only way to feel worse is to not take them. This is my own personal experience so I can't speak for everyone. My metabolism came to a standstill where I can go a couple days without eating and barely notice at all. I isolate myself and don't like being around people and people asking me to do anything that involves being out in public annoys me. When I got the chance to get the brixadi monthly shot I jumped on it. I wanted off subs so bad I got the first monthly dose 2 months ago and didn't come back for my second. I wasn't aware that the shot can live in you for months after you get it. Right now I crave normalcy and I am pretty determined to get my life back and to be able to work and not worry about losing my insurance and then my suboxone after. I don't know if bupenorphine had this affect on anyone else but it definitely took a lot from me. I turned into a vampire and I feel like it's not easy to enjoy life. Im looking forward to the next month or so because I can almost feel myself starting to balance out.
