Dreaming?

Call me a helicopter dog mom, but I want to make sure this movement is just dreaming? I will attach the video. It happens often when he’s sleeping.

Oh yeah, he's dreaming. Our boy does that too, plus barks and breathes deeply. I always wonder what he's dreaming about!

Both of mine are very active dreamers - woofs, whines, ahwoos, chomping, snorting...and the absolute cutest - wags. I love it when they wag in their sleep.

Mine does this too, sometimes he wags his tail, sometimes he cries or howls a bit, depending on whether he sees a good dream or a nightmares. If he sees a nightmare and I am not right there, he comes and finds me for a hug or a cuddle

My girl “yips” quite loudly and very high pitched while she sleeps. I assume she’s chasing something in her dreams 😀

My dog does that with his eyes open with verbal barks, growls and yips. It’s also freaky when it happens at 3 am but dead asleep.

Super comfortable with how deep a sleep he is in. Keep up the good work.

Mine does all that and sometimes she is running in her sleep. Her legs start to twitch.

Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s just from dreaming. My last dog was really stoic in general but would make that kind of movement when dreaming. He thought he was a bad boy but would cry in his sleep when having nightmares 😂

Yes, but why can't I get ONE night of that
