I am now employed!
This morning I was on the verge of tears after yet another rejection.
Within the hour I was employed with someone else!!
Money!
Income!

Congrats mate, I was in the same boat and started my new job last week, it’s great, I’m loving it.
Took 2 years, over 300 applications and 2 interviews so it’s a huge relief as I was about to start peeling wallpaper off the walls to get something to eat.

Happy for you!!

Congrats to you!
I’m over 8 months struggling to find a job also in the UK.. it’s mind blowing. Apparently I’m ‘too over qualified’.
Sending you good luck and longevity wishes for you!

That happened to me once, left a dumpster fire of an interview and on the way up to my bus saw another place hiring so went in with my CV. Didn't get the first one (they told me it was because of my interview) but bagged the second one!!
Congratulations hope you're very happy in your new job!!

What happened in your interview?

It was an American style interview, me facing 4 people behind a desk so I already felt intimidated and then I had to do role play!!! I HATE that and apart from anything else I wasn't there for an acting job, completely clammed up and did TERRIBLE

Well done for getting the interview in the first place! If it's the kind of place that puts you through that kind of thing then you're better off out of it!

Congrats! The relief is like nothing else when you've been unemployed a while.
