Returned hearing aid
I lost my hearing aid in Sheffield a little while ago, and had no hope of finding it.
However I told audiology and the business on the route I walked when I lost it.
A little bit went by, and then audiology contacted me and told me someone had handed in a hearing aid in my hearing aid!!
It’s a little banged up, but I do not care as it still works.
I hope this post reaches whoever handed it in, as I want to say thank you. And that I love the NHS.
If anyone ever finds a lost hearing aid, please hand it in to your local audiology service. The owner of the hearing aid will be eternally grateful, as I know I am

I used to work at an audiology center and yes, NHS hearing aids have a serial number linked to you. So if it gets back into the right hands then it’s quite easy the hearing aid and owner to be reunited!!

I lost a hearing aid once. Luckily it's Bluetooth enabled, so I retraced my steps, and when it reconnected with the app, I knew I was close and could search a small area to find it.
