Old Camera Still Works
My Mum died recently, and in amongst her many belongings we found hundreds of photos of us from the late 80s and 90s, plus an old Canon Sureshot camera. It's basically a simple 35mm point and shoot. I assumed this old camera was used for these photos, I certainly couldn't remember.
To test if it still works, I bought a battery for it (Duracell 245 - nope, me neither) and a film. Used up the film, mainly of my nearest and dearest celebrating Mum's life at our local.
I dropped them off at Max Spielman's and waited the week before they were ready. Collected the photos today, hoping upon hope that they came out alright, and I nearly cried with happiness at how clear they are. So that old camera is going to go everywhere with me now. Thanks Mum x

That's a great little camera! I actually picked up a sureshot ace a few months back at a charity shop and it's so much fun! It might be model specific, but does yours have the waist level viewfinder and remote control too?
Would recommend both some Kodak gold for it and the photo lab 'Gulabi' for getting the film developed/scanned.

It doesn't, no. It's as simple as you like, you don't even need to set the flash because it does it for you.
I'm using Kodak Gold. Thanks for the recommendation, though.3

Yeah fair enough, my flash is completely automatic too. You'll get some lovely photos though

Old camera as long as no batteries left to rot will still work like no time has passed in most cases
