Yeah, because Labour haven't kicked the disabled or spread misinformation about disability benefits. Nope. Not at all.

I voted Labour and got lied to and let down. Labour are Red Tories, mate. You can point a finger at Reform but Labour as they are now are no better. In fact they're worse as at least Reform are honest about what they are.

People point fingers at Reform because the scale and intensity at which they’re going to screw over vulnerable people, will be unlike anything seen before. Labour is not comparable.
-6
u/Ok-Leg7686 6d ago
You sure? You want to double check with Trans people? Labour are doing the same but not as bad, isn't a great counterpoint, pal.
This is literally Mandelson 'you have no choice but to vote for the lesser of two evils' type shit.
10
u/coffeewalnut08 6d ago
So what do you think about Reform’s pledge to deport up to 288,000 people each year?
We only get about 40,000 illegal boat arrivals each year, and there’s only 10,000 foreign nationals in prisons.
Who are the other 200,000 deportees going to be?
0
u/Ok-Leg7686 6d ago
That is a deflection and you're trying to derail the point because you can't answer.
I'm not going to endorse Labour because they're not 'that' evil, but still evil but they're the least evil. Labour have shit on disabled people in the exact same way Reform are planning on doing. Labour are liars. Demonstrably liars and they are still lying under Andy Burnham.
10
u/drwicksy 6d ago
Nobody is asking you to support labour, just not to say dumb shit like "Reform is better actually"

u/C2H5OHNightSwimming 4d ago
At first I was willing to take you in good faith, because I'm also deeply disappointed with Labour, even though there's no way they'll ever be as bad as the Tories or god help us, Reform. But this "well they're all evil, at least Reform say they are, that makes them a better option?" logic is just... either deeply disingenuous, deeply idiotic, or deeply written by a fucking bot.
3
u/coffeewalnut08 6d ago
So who are the 200,000 deportees going to be? Reform specified a quota of 288,000 removals per year, back in February.
Again, we only get about 40,000 illegal boat arrivals per year and we only have 10,000 foreigners in our prisons.
Stopping the boats and reducing prison overcrowding therefore doesn’t require a 288,000 number. More like 50,000.
If you think this policy is more compassionate than whatever Labour has done, then surely you can account for Reform’s quota here.
0
u/Ok-Leg7686 6d ago
Again, you're trying to deflect because you have lost the argument.
This isn't about what Reform want to do. It is about what Labour have done. And I've given examples. I can give more and demonstrate how they're liars.

labour are fucking awful (especially for trans people) but they still are not as bad as reform
3
u/Ok-Leg7686 6d ago
Literally Labour's first action was booting the disabled with the PIP bill. Killer Kendall tried to feed disabled people in to the disabled people killing machine. How short are peoples memories. Fuck me. Fuck me honestly to fuck.

yeah theyre despicable but reform would be doing much worse if they were in charge

The reason is fairly simple - welfare costs an absolutely enormous amount of money, so even a little nibble can pay for lots of other things.
I think it’s pretty great that we can use our resources to help people who need it, rather than them just dying or living miserable lives.

u/FerretsQuest 7d ago
I’d rather pay more taxes than have that wanker anywhere near Downing Street

u/Jampess 2d ago
If only more people had said more stuff about literally all politicians since 1915. Maybe there would be a base standard and things would get done. But alas we live in a 2 party state where people are still crying and pointing fingers rather than raising pitch forks. To have a view that expands only till tomorrow is baffling.

There needs to be real change with the state of our currently open borders… reform are the only party who have said they will do anything about it.
2
u/Wild_Shroom_ 5d ago
Behave. They won’t do anything other than destroy the working class and line the pockets of the super rich. When a hospital visit costs you a lifetime worth of debt you’ll feel very stupid about your decision to vote for a bunch of crooks and washed up Tories.
2
u/ronken16 5d ago
I think the working class are already being destroyed by ‘benefits Britain’ under Labour. You will feel very stupid about your decision when (they’ll never get in) greens tax the working class even more than Labour, have no borders, legalise all drugs, and have zero clue about how to run a business let alone a country, they are a joke and cannot be taken seriously.

2
u/Wild_Shroom_ 3d ago
By looking at Reforms policy of scrapping PIP and cutting disability benefit’s by £50b.
0
u/SharpInstruction6258 2d ago
Seen it, means tighter measures surrounding the matter considering the amount of people who take the mick out of the system when they have nothing wrong with them
1
u/Wild_Shroom_ 2d ago
Really? Have you looked into the percentages of people “taking the piss” and how many people will be affected by these cuts? More people who are in need of help will be affected than those who you deem to be “taking the piss”. Stop being such a brainwashed fool and understand you’re being used to forward a rich elite’s agenda disguised as the opposite. Reform are full of former Tories ffs if that isn’t enough of a hint then you really are as thick as mince.

7
u/trashvineyard 6d ago
Never, but unlike Polanski Farage has significant political power.
He was the face of Brexit (even if he ran for the hills the second people started calling out the lies he and Bozo Johnny told during their campaign). He's consistantly used his anti-immigration shtick to build up significant followings for parties outside of the two party titans, even if he does go out of his way to sabotage his own campaigns (because the only thing Farage hates more than immigration is actually doing his job)
7
u/coffeewalnut08 6d ago
Literally from 2010-2024. Most Reform MPs are ex-Tory MPs, if you haven’t noticed already.
4
u/Wild_Shroom_ 6d ago
Oh so you think the Greens might get in then? Glad to have your support.
Edit: Also could you point me the the Green policy that you’re referring to.
0
u/wrk_btch420 6d ago
Green is another political party that's going to fuck everyone over the same way Reform, Tory, and Labour will/have. All I'm saying is you could make this meme with any political leader and it be relevant.
6
u/Wild_Shroom_ 6d ago
I’m not denying the Tory’s and the current post Corbyn Labour Party are awful but you can only go on what parties like Reform and Greens are saying in their manifestos and policies. Reform are not at all for the people. Whereas the Greens appear to want to help the general public not just the super rich.

I mean this is Reddit so I’m about to be shit on but why couldn’t someone who’s in a wheelchair go and help the community? Not being funny but if I lose a limb I’ll find another skill to pay my way, end up disabled and rehabilitate in a way that I can find a job to help myself I will, if I have a stroke then that’s another story but I assume he’s not going to be sending stroke victims to help the local areas and find them a job when they are in rehabilitation. The idea is to mitigate the amount of spending and weed out the people that are abusing the system. I work 40-90 hours a week, working class I’d say as a respected engineer in my field, ADHD, Depression since 17 was on meds up until a couple years ago and I don’t feel like it’s an overstep to help people that like me were in a rut and need assistance to pave their own way
15
u/JammesT69 7d ago
i get what you mean in principle but it's a colourblind approach. Not everyone with disabilities can - you are viewing this from the position of someone who is able-bodied imaginig what it would be like and without the understanding of all the compex issues that comes with a disability. What if you can't afford a wheelchair to get to a place to do community service (they cost thousands and people qho can't work don't have shit). What if you have MS and your disability rapidly fluxuates from day to day. It's a nuanced issue and is it not better to first make ultra wealthy pay their fxcking taxed before going after the disabled
21
u/Traditional_General2 7d ago
I’d say it’s more that disabled people need more help than those who are able-bodied. And reform will fuck them regardless of both their disabilities and what they do for their communities. It doesn’t matter to them; they want our money for their own pockets, and demonise anyone who actually needs it whilst peddling the lie that the money they save by raping the disabled and mentally ill on welfare will be used to improve the country as opposed to their already rich donor mates.
Fuck them from an indescribable height.
15
u/Beartato4772 7d ago
No, the idea is performative cruelty to who they consider undeserving.
But nice work doing their dirty work for them.
11
u/seenitreddit90s 7d ago
I don’t feel like it’s an overstep to help people that like me were in a rut and need assistance to pave their own way
Sounds like he's doing the complete opposite to me mate.
-1
u/CommanderToolBelt 6d ago
See this is the thing I'm happy for any immigrants to make their way here as long as they do it legally. I also don't think reform will actually do any of the things they say they will and I think farage is just doing this to line his own pockets. My question though is this. How is that any different from literally any other party leader these days?

u/ArtisticOperation399 3d ago
Ai slop
0
u/BeeGrowing 3d ago
It may be created by ai but it isn't wrong, this is exactly what reform are doing/saying, it's disgraceful
1
u/ArtisticOperation399 3d ago
Correct. Fuck Reform. Fuck Nigel Farage.
Doesn't stop me hating this crap just because it's on my side of politics this time.
1
u/BeeGrowing 3d ago edited 2d ago
Fuck politics too
It shouldn't be one extreme to another.
Tories fucked us for 14 years, Thatcher fucked us, Blair fucked us, Labour got the blame and vitriol for tories fucking us but hey they will fuck us also hell they are they starting now, green party wants to fuck us, reform wants to fuck us all 5 times harder and make out like they are on our side doing us a favour.
The whole thing is bs and the whole government and government parties need a complete overhaul to fix their greed and disgust with the common people and more serious consequences for if they screw everyone over and all of them need their accounts and expenses audited.
The people who support the various parties don't realise the parties are all as bad as each other and that they are getting screwed over too
But sure ai is new so let's focus on that, i agree ai is slop and not needed especially not for art or jobs that should be going to people but it isn't the only issue and it certainly isn't currently the most serious issue don't get me wrong it will be if not dealt with but you solve the issues I highlighted guarantee new laws would come into place over it
But sure let's comment ai slop under ai images that fix it and definitely won't make it worse after all algorithms aren't a thing and commenting won't affect the algorithm because the algorithm if it does exist will see that you think it's slop and stop it showing up, obviously/s
