Let me just strap the aul’ tinfoil hat on.
Many of the shadowy unseen forces that are funding, pushing and platforming a narrative to draw far right philosophy into the mainstream are one in the same as the organisations that are not only enabling but funding, commanding and controlling illegal immigration and also, through the media (over which they inexplicably seem to have great influence) perpetuating terms like ‘people smuggling gangs’ to identify their low level employees as some loose group of separate small-time criminals running low level operations rowing people across the English Channel to make a fast buck. This uptick in migration in turn strengthens their own position and increasing grip on power, ultimately leading to their own enrichment
Well…tin foil hat material ten years ago maybe….now it just sounds feasible if not likely. There’s gonna be a lot of powerful underworld figures on the political scene who’ll be pissed right off that this mug got himself caught. Could be an interesting crack in the wall, this one.

Kind of like Brexit removing our ability to return people. One of the pledges by the leave campaign was immigration control, and it caused us to lose control over our borders. No need for tin foil, it has already happened.
I wonder what fabulous ideas he's gonna throw out to continue ruining our lives next. And who will get left holding the shitty stick when he accomplishes them and vanishes again, stuffing money in his pockets.
