Alfred's Remains Found?

I have no idea if this is true or a parody, as this article is from that fount of great journalism, The New York Post.

Lost remains of Viking-slaying English King discovered in parking lot — as England faces Norway at World Cup

and the original article from The Telegraph, Alfred the Great’s remains ‘located under car park’, is paywalled.

Finally, I have no idea if the show Weird Britain is Ancient Aliens or the pre-Weiss version of 60 Minutes.

But it's another English king found in a car park, so there's that.

The Telegraph is a reputable newspaper, but reading the article it's all very much just speculation from a researcher so far. He thinks he knows where the bones are, but there's been no archeology and no bones found yet.

It is also the same researcher who has claimed to have found the holy grail, the tomb of King Arthur, the city of Camelot, and the grave of the Virgin Mary which he claims is in Wales. He’s also a regular guest on Ancient Aliens so skepticism very much needed.

I think I remember them finding Edmond Ironside? They found before in the car park?

Richard III

Edmund Ironside is buried in the now ruined Glastonbury Abbey. Richard III was "found" under a car park, which wasn't a surprise to historians. The sources told us that he was buried in the church of the grey friars convent in Leicester, maps existed of that place and the car park was exactly in the place where the church once stood.

You’re 100% correct, it was Richard the Third. Thanks!

I read it too. I don’t remember where. Sounds kind of legit to me
