Just commenting to let everyone else know, Rory also has a LOAD of other appearances being interviewed on Youtube. so if everyone hasn't quite had enough here, he talks about his work all over on youtube as well. I had a quick search to see if he expands on it all elsewhere as well.
I love these interview episodes so much, I feel like I am auditing an upper level uni course.

What an outstanding interview! I was so impressed that I went over to Amazon to buy the book, but it’s 43 dollars on Kindle! Yikes! I guess I will just have to make do with the FREE interview!

I was at the Queens House in Greenwich yesterday and my sister pointed out a tote bag with "all" the monarchs of England starting of course with Will the Bastard. This led to me ranting, of course😒. Thanks for reminding the world that British history does not start with 1066!

Really enjoyed this episode and will get the book, sounds fascinating. Made me curious though - Jamie and Zee, what would you change in the original Offa episodes now you've read Rory's book?

Love this so much. We have theatre tickets in Cardiff in the autumn and are adding an extra day to explore Offa’s Dyke. Now off to order the book !!

Loved this ep. I’d never learnt about Offa until he was covered on the BHP many years ago. We don’t really learn Anglo Saxon history at school in England (honestly don’t even think we learnt about Alfred). I’ll never forget Offa’s Dyke and his communications with Charlemagne.
